The Erasmus Office of Plovdiv University Paisii Hilendarski continued its tradition of planting a tree with its exchange students at the end of each academic year. Teachers, volunteers, and our partners from ESN Plovdiv joined our students in this event.
We planted a linden tree in the New Campus of the university with the hope of creating a small garden that will become a spot for future meetings of an Erasmus+ Alumni club.
Our Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator, assoc. prof. Boryan Yanev explained the symbolism behind the tree of choice, and assoc. prof. Nadya Cherneva greeted the students on behalf of the Rector.
The students got the chance to see their friends and colleagues one more time before departure and keep this finale as a meaningful conclusion to their mobility.
