The procedure for obtaining a public transport card is very simple. All you need is to have your student book* ready. This is an official document that identifies you as a student of Plovdiv University. You simply go to the Public Transport office, show them your student book, let them know the period of validity you desire (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc.) and after you pay, you will get your card.
The office which deals with these cards is located quite close to the Rectorate. Its address is ‘Otets Paisiy’ str. 24.
*It usually takes around a couple of weeks for the student book to be prepared.
