Erasmus students from Poland, France, Germany, and Turkey started their Erasmus+ mobility for studies in the summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv.
The orientation days, organized by the International Relations Office, helped the new Erasmus students adapt more easily to the environment.
The International Relations Office welcomed the incoming students on February 12 in the university’s conference hall. They were introduced to the history of Bulgaria and Plovdiv, the structure and activities of the institution, the basic regulations concerning the educational process and the accommodation, and the opportunity to learn the Bulgarian language at Plovdiv University.
The experts from the International Relations Office also familiarized the students with the university buildings, libraries, and centers.
The program of the Orientation Days continued on February 13 with a walk around the central part of Plovdiv. The students had the chance to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Plovdiv, as well as the main administrative points they will need during their stay in the city.
On February 14, an excursion to the town of Koprivshtitsa took place, aiming to introduce the students to the cultural and historical heritage of the region around Plovdiv.
